Ok, So someone you have just met asks you what you do. What do you tell them?
" I make, design, sculpt cloth dolls, soft sculpture dolls, art dolls etc."
You know what comes next, don't you? The look. The look is the amazed look on most adults faces that if you could read the thoughts says "You are crazy, that is for kids."
Well maybe we are a bit crazy and a bit kid like, but we are also happy and know that our creations bring joy to the faces of men, women and children of all ages when they see our work.
So, the next time someone asks you what you do. Hold up your head high and say I am a cloth doll maker, and when you see that look, just smile back with the knowledge that you are a gifted and talented person and that dolls are not just for kids.
Keep the magic alive for all that you come in contact with, because dolls are truly magincal creatures.
